International relation activities of CTU continues to develop into greater
depth with significant impacts to the University's development
AsoneoftheleadinguniversitiesofVietnamforstrongandeffectiveinternationalcooperationpractices,in
2014, CTU welcomed around 365 delegations with 1,516 times of international guests (including 190
international students) to visit, study, conduct research and discuss cooperation. In particular, CTU was in
great honor to receive many senior diplomatic delegations with many distinguished politicians, ambassadors,
consul generals and envoys of foreign countries like Australia, Germany, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan
and Korea. In the year, CTU also delegated over 340 students and staff members to attend international
conferences, seminars, academic forums, staff and student exchange programs, cultural exchange programs,
and signing MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) for international cooperation.
CTU has signed new MoUs with more than 20 foreign universities, international organizations of many
countries such as Japan, Thailand, Korea, Taiwan, the United States and other countries. In line with
other existing international partnerships, Japan and Korea are becoming highly potential for extending
cooperation in the future. The University also expanded international cooperation with new partners such
as the University of Pisa (Italy), the University of Liberal Arts (Russia), the University of Widya Mandala
Surabaya and Sepuluh Nopember Institute
of Technology (Indonesia). Especially, CTU
signed MoU with Nagasaki University
(Japan), and both Universities already
opened the Liaison Office at the partner's
side.
The effective international cooperation
activities have contributed to strengthening
CTU's development and academic
reputation, bringing the University's good
image to the international friends and
becoming a reliable, trustworthy partner
trusted by many international universities,
institutes and agencies. Currently, CTU
has more than 125 international partners
in 22 countries and territories from all
continents of the world, becoming one of
the leading universities of Vietnam in international cooperation.
