an Tho University Improvement Project using ODA loans from the Japanese Government
Cthrough the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has been implemented for
seven years (from 2015 to 2022) with a total budget of 105.9 million USD. In 2021, the University
inaugurated two out of four construction works under the project, namely Hatcheries with an area

of 2,800 m and a total investment of 33 billion VND, and Net House with an area of 4,200 m and a
total investment of 10.3 billion VND. The project has reached its final stage, the important outcomes
from the project initially contribute to building a solid foundation for the long-term development of
the University in the future.
