The current educational methods should not only promote students’positiveness, self- regulation, activeness and creativity but also develop students’ practical skills as well as their passion for learning. In order to stimulate students’ potential abilities through their conversations, interactions and argumentations in terms of building up and recognizing new constructs, this paper proposed a teaching model based on the approach of social constructivist perspective. More importantly, a situation to teach the topic of distance in spatial geometry 11 has been designed.
