ABSTRACT

Turtle, a group of special body form animals, is the subject of hunting and at urgently risk of extinction. The sampling collections of freshwater turtles in the Mekong delta were carried out three times enable to collect, identify and classify six species belong to three families (Emydidae, Trionychidae, and Testudinidae) of the Turtle Order (Testudinata).

Rùa thuộc nhóm động vật có cấu tạo cơ thể đặc biệt, là đối tượng săn bắt ráo riết và đứng trước nguy cơ tuyệt chủng cao. Ba đợt thu mẫu các loài Rùa nước ngọt tại đồng bằng sông Cửu Long cho phép thu thập, định danh và mô tả đuợc 6 loài Rùa thuộc 3 họ (Emydidae, Testudinidae và Trionychidae) của bộ Rùa (Testudinata).
