Linkers containing alkyne and amino functional groups 3-amino-4-((4-carboxyphenyl)ethynyl)benzoic acid and 4,4'-(ethyne-1,2-diyl)bis(3-aminobenzoic acid) were newly designed for the construction of new functionalized MOFs. These compounds were synthesized using palladium-catalyzed Sonogashira coupling reactions and completely characterized by ¹H, ¹³C NMR, mass and IR spectroscopies.
