The study shows that, in some provinces of theMekongdelta with large Khmer populations, the problem of hunger and poverty among the Khmer ethnic group remain acute. Moreover, the work of hunger eradication and poverty alleviation among the Khmer population in this area has not been pursued in a sustainable way, and thus it remains a high proportion of households at risk of falling back into poverty each year. Tóm tắt Nghiên cứu được thực hiện nhằm đánh giá thực trạng vấn đề đói nghèo của đồng bào dân tộc Khmer ở khu vực đồng bằng sông Cửu Long và đưa ra các giải pháp xóa đói giảm nghèo đối với đồng bào dân tộc Khmer của vùng. Kết quả điều tra một số tỉnh có đông đồng bào Khmer sinh sống và từ một số báo cáo cho thấy vấn đề đói nghèo của đồng bào dân tộc Khmer ở khu vực đồng bằng sông Cửu Long còn cao và công tác xóa đói giảm nghèo cho đồng bào dân tộc Khmer của vùng chưa thật sự bền vững, tỷ lệ tái nghèo hàng năm còn cao. |
