This paper have combined both theoretical and and surveys by questionnaires to analyzed the pattern of
deploying defense and security education activities at Can Tho University. The survey results show that staff and
students at Can Tho University all recognize that it is necessary, the implementation of the objectives and content
of the security education is highly effective, and the forms and methods The method of prevention and control is
being applied very appropriately. However, there are still some problems when implementing it, such as: students
are still passive, the form of online teaching is not effective, and technical facilities are still limited. On the basis of
the current state of defense and security education at Can Tho University, the author proposes some measures to
make defense and security education more effective.
