Bac Lieu is a province in the Mekong Delta, with diverse natural conditions with three saltwater, freshwater and brackish ecosystems, Bac Lieu has great potential for agricultural development. However, climate change with rising sea levels, saline intrusion, drought, and so on have been putting pressure on systems, between freshwater demand for rice and saltwater for shrimp farming. The topic of collection and use of Landsat 8 satellite imagery data is two times: February 09, 2015 represents the dry season and November 26, 2016 represents the rainy season in the mapping of the dispute. The research results show that the disputed area has a total area of 17,231.2 ha in the transition area of the province document as a basis for future planning of land use planning in Bac Lieu province to ensure sustainable agricultural development.
