Students’ learning activities involve much intellectual independence with the self-awareness of learning motivation, learning goals, and learning methods. Enhancing student learning activities is an important task contributing to improving the training quality of higher education institutions. The article presents the current situation of students’ learning activities at FPT University in Can Tho city based on the results of survey questionnaire with 351 respondents (including 287 students and 64 managers and lecturers). From the survey results, the researcher analyzed and evaluated the actual situation of achieving goals, contents, methods, skills and forms of learning activities among the student at FPT University in Can Tho city. This is the practical basis in proposing solutions to improve the students’ learning activities at FPT University in Can Tho city in particular and educational institutions in general.
