This study was carried out through direct interview 65 rotation black tiger shrimp-rice BSR) farmers and 62 white leg shrimp -rice (WS-R) farmers in Kien Giang province from September to December 20I4.In the result, rotation shrimp-rice area andproduction of the province were70,750 ha and 27,675 tons. According to the shrimp-rice areaplan of the province, will increase around 76,500hain20I5 and 80,200 hain2020. Culture area of BS-R (1.7 ha) was larger than WS-R (1.a ha) but water level in flat form was shallower (0.5 m) than that in WS-R (0,6 p). Density and stocking time of black tiger shrimp (BS) were lower than (7.8 indslm'lcrop and 3.5 times/crop) white leg shrimp (wS), i.e.13.4 inds/m'lcrop and 3.7 timeslcrop). Commercial pellet feeds were used in BS farm system (89.2% households) and WS-R (95.5% households), FCR were 0.5 and, 0.7, respectively. The first harvest time of BS-R system was (125 days) longer than WS-R system (100 days), and harvest size 32.3 and 12.7 inds/kg, respectively. Survival rate and yield in BS-R were (13.1% and 320 kglhalcrop) lower than that in WS-R system (33.0% and 632 kglha/crop). Total cost of WS-R system was 51.3 '\rND million/halcrop, higher than that (1.9 time) in BS-R. Cost price and farm gate price were 99.400 VND/kg, 217.700 VND/kg and 99j00 vND/kg, 132.900 vND/kg, respectively, gained profits were 36.1 and 44.4 vND million/halcrop, benef,rt per costs were 0.7 and 1.7 time. Ratio of lost farmers in WS-R system (22.6%) was higher than that in BS-R (7.7%). Besides, effected factors to yield and profit of the two systems were also analysed in this study.
