This study provides information on the current demand for bachelor’s degree in Technology Teacher Education in the Mekong Delta region, carried out through a combination of survey and forecast based on quantitative data. Survey results from 186 high schools at all levels in 13 provinces in the Mekong Delta in October and November 2022 showed that these schools currently need 20 teachers in this major, mainly at the lower secondary level. However, the responses from 26 managers in secondary schools about the lack of technology teachers to serve the needs of implementing the new general education program show that the demand is much higher
